PDF files as
for translation. Our solution to translate and publish
PDFs in all languages
[We translate and publish PDF documents in all languages]
Sometimes it is impossible to trace back the original version of a document held in PDF form.
Have no fear! Soget can use these very PDF files to produce translations in any language or to create new ones.
The new PDF follows the original layout and using the same styles, fonts, drawings and photographs: the new document will be a mirror copy of the original one, translated into one or more languages as required.
Furthermore, upon request the original or translated PDFs can be provided in all the main Desktop Publishing formats, including Adobe® InDesign, QuarkXpress, etc.
This service generates documents that can easily be updated and printed, and that can be used as a basis for translations performed using CAT tools (translation memories), thus reducing lead times and costs.
While many software tools allow PDF files to be created from any application (e.g. Word and FrameMaker), our solutions also enable the inverse procedure: the creation of documents in any format, starting from a PDF file.
In addition to translating PDF documents into any language, we can also adapt the layout for right-to-left scripts (e.g. translations into Arabic, Hebrew, etc.).
We also translate and publish PDF documents in eastern languages (Chinese, Korean and Japanese) and in all other supported languages.
Finally, Soget can produce new multilingual PDF documents, using a DTP technique that allows several language versions to be inserted in a single PDF document. The advantage? The creation of a single file to distribute manuals, licenses, instructions and every other type of informative document in all your customers' languages. On opening the PDF file, readers will think they are reading a manual written solely in their own language.
